About us

VAR Lab is a research group formed by individuals from the University of Aveiro. These joined forces to form an interdisciplinary synergy between current global challenges and cutting-edge Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technologies. Our mission is to innovate, enhance human abilities, and improve quality of life. We tackle research through Human-Centered Design (HCD) approaches with stakeholders. To create sustainable solutions, the process takes into account usage contexts, user requirements, and human factors. Plus, user studies for validating the developed solutions and create a measurable benefit.
