As the world population grows, a larger amount of waste is produced, including old clothing. And in that pile of disposed clothes, there is a large proportion of school uniforms. As almost every student tends to do, they throw their uniform away the second they find it too small to wear. They either leave their uniforms in their closets gathering dust, or they throw them away. Additionally, we also have second-handed books and tap shoes in Victoria Academy, so why not second-handed uniforms? In order to prevent too many thrown-away clothes from becoming an even more severe problem, we came up with an activity called uniform sharing, in which school uniforms are passed down from previous terms, decreasing the amount of disposed clothes. By putting this activity into action, not only we can save a lot of money for our parents and other families, this is also a way to protect the environment. Furthermore, once we succeed in promoting the concept of uniform sharing, we can advocate the importance of this activity to other schools.
