Vascular surgery plays a critical role in the management of complex and life-threatening diseases, making it an increasingly important discipline in modern medicine. Cultivating early interest among medical students is essential to preparing the next generation of vascular surgeons. The Vascular Surgery Interest Group (VSIG) seeks to connect students with faculty mentors, provide opportunities for education and clinical exposure, and foster a lasting interest in the field.
