Student University Counseling Services Mission Statement:

University Counseling Services provides time sensitive and goal-oriented mental health services through a wellness lens to the UW-Platteville student population. We facilitate emotional, academic, social, and personal development utilizing individual and group counseling.

Psycho-educational and consultative services provided to the campus community enhance awareness and understanding of emotional wellness to support student academic achievement. We acknowledge and incorporate an individual’s culturally-bound values in a therapeutic process to affirm, promote, and celebrate diversity in its broadest sense.
