This research lab  works on various projects exclusively related to Underwater discipline. Currently, twenty three distinct projects, which incorporate both financed and scholastic projects are being undertaken in this lab under the guidance of Dr. S. Sakthivel Murugan. The works carried out in this lab focuses on Underwater Ambient Analysis, Acoustic Inversion Study, Underwater Archaeology, Design of Remotely Operatable Vehicle, Localization of Autonomous Underwater Vehicle along with  Energy Harvesting System using Seawater. This lab supports research works in the field of Underground Communication and IoT. We also encourage interdisciplinary ventures and have henceforth collaborated with individuals from Department of Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Chemical Engineering.  We additionally work with few organizations that specialize in the field of underwater communication.
