Upon analyzing each of our studies findings, we drew a number of conclusions regarding our prototype. Overall, all the users we studied found the RMS to be helpful and something that should be widely adopted. Participant 2 described it as "helpful and intuitive to use" and "good as a prototype".
Our studies found the drink customization feature to be especially intriguing and attractive to users. Many saying how helpful it would be if their RMS implemented it. The other features were found to be accommodating as well. With many complimenting the messaging feature as well.
A issue that a few found with the prototype was the Edit inventory button, either not seeing its need or not understanding its use. They found the Request to refill button to be sufficient in doing the job of requesting additional inventory.
The most common gripe that participants had was to do with our use of Google Slides for the prototype. It was not as interactive as it could have been (did not permit users to type onto the screen, rather they could only send pre-typed messages). Knowing this, in the future I'd know not to use Google Slides [or similar software's] to create interactive prototypes.
Bellow is the research report written for our usability study. In it, further detail is given on the process, our findings, limitations, and additional steps that could be taken.
