Welcome to SCMUN!
Step into a vibrant community where passion for global affairs meets the warmth of collaborative learning. Our club isn't just an academic exercise—it's a gathering place for bright minds to connect, share ideas, and grow together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement. Whether you're a first-time delegate or a seasoned MUN enthusiast, you'll find a supportive home here where your voice matters and your perspective is valued. Join us as we navigate the complexities of international relations, celebrate our diverse backgrounds, and forge meaningful friendships that extend far beyond the conference halls.
Land Acknowledgement
We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto and UTSC Model United Nations operate. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island. As we gather for our SCMUN conference/events to discuss global issues and international cooperation, we recognize the importance of honoring the original stewards of this land. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work, learn, and collaborate on this territory, and we commit to respecting Indigenous knowledge, cultures, and relationships to the land in all our SCMUN activities.
