UTEP offers 2026 El Dorado RB Ryan Estrada

Article by UTEPZay

High school football talent in El Paso has always been overlooked. But recently, the talent in the Borderland has become more prominent and teams are finally paying attention. That is especially the fact for the class of 2026, which already has two players with offers. One of those players is Ryan Estrada, who picked up his 5th Division 1 offer from the hometown Miners. Estrada already has offers from Texas Tech, Baylor, SMU, and UTSA.

Estrada ran for 1,326 yards while averaging over 10 yards per game in his freshman year at El Dorado. He also helped lead the Aztecs to their best record since 2017. He added in 17 total TD’s, the most among El Paso freshmen. He already has tremendous size at the RB position, standing at 5-10, 185 lbs. Reminder, he is barely a freshman.

UTEP doesn’t offer a lot of high school prospects, let alone players that are 4 years away from graduating, but Estrada is a very special prospect. By the time he leaves El Dorado, he will be up there with some of the greatest players to come out of El Paso. His electrifying play will garner interest from schools nationwide, so the Miners will need to stay on him throughout his career if they want a shot at the hometown product.
