Origin of Toy-world and the Fall of the Green Creatures
The story of Toy-world’s origin begins long before the establishment of modern Toylandia, Kepler, or Baksus. According to legend—though the historical veracity is debated—Toy-world was not originally a planet of Toys but a realm ruled by an advanced civilization of green, extraterrestrial beings. These creatures had visited Earth centuries prior and had secretly observed human-made toys, eventually abducting some of them for their own purposes. Among the toys abducted were the Tress (wooden toys that existed in the 1800s through the early 20th century) and the Plasticans (plastic-based toys). These toys were enslaved and forced to serve the Green Creatures, who used them as a labor force and as instruments of experimentation. Historical evidence for this period is sparse, and much of the tale relies on oral tradition and scattered artifacts recovered later by the Toy-world Security Council (TSC).
In 1990 on Earth, Teddy—later known as King Teddy—emerged as a visionary among the toys, forming a coalition called the Tentpoles. This coalition included toys who shared his ambition to create a free world for toys, independent of the oppressive Green Creatures. According to legend, the crown prince of the Green Creatures, Nemia, secretly assisted Teddy by providing intelligence and training. This unlikely alliance facilitated the Tentpoles’ eventual journey to the nascent Toy-world in the early 2000s. By 2007, the Tentpoles had established themselves on the planet, marking the foundation of organized Toy-world societies.
The fall of the Green Creatures occurred between the early 2000s and 2007. Teddy and the Tentpoles successfully defeated the extraterrestrial rulers, dismantling their civilization entirely. This victory, however, came at a tremendous cost. The Green Creatures’ collapse precipitated what is known in Toy-world records as the Great Recession: a period of severe technological, social, and economic disruption. Many pre-existing settlements and artifacts were destroyed or lost, and the survivors—including the Tentpoles and freed Plasticans—were left to rebuild from a near-total collapse. Historians note that this marked the end of Toy-world’s first advanced civilization and ushered in a medieval-like period of small, isolated communities struggling for survival.
Following the fall, the Tentpoles consolidated power and gradually established early political structures, but the immediate aftermath was chaotic. Knowledge of pre-collapse technologies and governance was largely lost, and many Toy-world civilizations, including the Plastican nations, had to start over. Oral histories suggest that the Tentpoles’ initial governance combined elements of practical militarized leadership and a nascent moral code emphasizing freedom for Toys
Allegations and Controversies.
Two main controversies surround this origin story:
1. Toylandian Propaganda Allegation: Critics argue that the narrative of Teddy’s heroic rise and the defeat of the Green Creatures was heavily promoted by the Toylandian government to solidify Toylandia’s historical primacy in Toy-world. They contend that the legend may have been exaggerated or selectively framed to legitimize Toylandia’s later dominance in politics, trade, and military affairs.
2. TSC Cover-up Allegation: Another allegation suggests that the Toy-world Security Council (TSC) actively preserved this narrative and suppressed alternative research regarding Toy-world’s true origins. According to these claims, the TSC sought to maintain order and continuity, but in doing so, may have concealed evidence that could have contradicted the Tentpole origin story.
Despite these controversies, the fall of the Green Creatures is consistently marked as the pivotal event that enabled the rise of Toy-world’s modern civilizations. It set the stage for subsequent developments such as the creation of the Tent Empire, the Industrial Revolution on Toy-world, and the eventual founding of the United Nations of Toy-world.
Coronation of King AJ (2013): King AJ, a human appointed by King Teddy as his successor, was officially crowned in 2013. This coronation marked the formal establishment of Toylandia’s leadership under the Tentpoles and set the stage for the Tent Empire’s political and military expansion. King AJ’s reign introduced reforms to strengthen governance, organize the monarchy, and prepare Toylandia for international influence.
1st Toy-world War (Mid-2016): The 1st Toy-world War occurred in mid-2016, focusing on the conquest of Shingshang. This war was a defining moment for Toy-world as it tested the Tent Empire’s military and strategic capabilities. The successful conquest fulfilled part of the Shingshang legend, which predicted that the empire that conquered Shengdi would dominate Toy-world. The war established Toylandia and the Tent Empire as the central power in Toy-world.
Tent Empire Voyage (October 2016–2017): Following the war, the Tent Empire Voyage began in October 2016. The Tentpoles, led by King AJ, embarked on a massive migration and exploration across Toy-world. The voyage involved transporting the population, establishing settlements, and strategically relocating to regions such as Shengdi. This period solidified the Tent Empire’s territorial influence and spread its political, economic, and cultural systems across Toy-world.
Industrial Revolution (2017 onwards): Shortly after the Tent Empire Voyage, Toylandia entered its Industrial Revolution. This transformation was spearheaded by King AJ and the newly founded ToyVille Corporation, which became the backbone of Toy-world’s economic and technological growth. The Industrial Revolution introduced modern economics, entrepreneurship, and capitalist systems to Toylandia. Factories, new transportation networks, and the first banks and media institutions were established. Human citizens were invited to contribute as workers and entrepreneurs, fostering Toylandian culture centered on innovation, commerce, and opportunity. The revolution also laid the groundwork for Toylandia’s rise as a global power, setting the stage for later events such as the formation of the United Nations of Toy-world and the subsequent wars and expansions.
Toylandian Monarchy Becomes Toy-world Monarchy (August 2018): In August 2018, King AJ, already King of Toylandia, officially declared the transformation of the Toylandian Monarchy into the Toy-world Monarchy. This ceremonial title made King AJ the King of Toy-world, recognized symbolically by other Toy-world leaders. Surprisingly, the declaration did not provoke major controversy because leaders understood it was largely ceremonial, granting him prestige but not direct control over independent nations. This move elevated Toylandia’s influence, setting the stage for international cooperation and the formation of multilateral institutions.
2nd Toy-world War (November 2018): In November 2018, conflict erupted between Toylandia and Katkatland, resulting in what historians widely recognize as the 2nd Toy-world War, though some scholars debate this classification since it involved only two nations. The war highlighted the Tent Empire’s military and strategic capacity post-voyage and reflected the growing tensions among Toy-world nations during this period of consolidation and expansion.
Creation of the United Nations of Toy-world (January 2019): On January 2019, under the leadership of King AJ and the Toylandian government, the United Nations of Toy-world (UNT) was officially established. Its purpose was to give every Toy-world leader a platform to address international law, trade, security, and conflicts. This institution became the earliest form of the modern United Toy-world Commonwealth (UTC). The UNT strengthened diplomatic ties, mediated disputes, and provided a governing structure to coordinate Toy-world affairs, especially crucial during ongoing military conflicts and territorial consolidation.
3rd Toy-world War (January–February 2019): Immediately following the creation of the UNT, the 3rd Toy-world War broke out from January to February 2019. This war involved Toylandia, Toyland America, and Buddissland fighting against Toy-egypt, which declared war under Emperor Mushy Sluhies for national pride and territorial ambitions. The combined forces of Toylandia, Toyland America, and Buddissland leveraged modern weaponry, superior tactics, and strong alliances to decisively defeat Toy-egyptian forces. This victory solidified the Tent Empire’s dominance and showcased Toylandia’s growing capacity to lead military coalitions while maintaining international influence through the UNTW framework.
4th Toy-world War (May–September 2019): The 4th Toy-world War began in May 2019, instigated again by Toy-egypt, but this time the conflict escalated when the Human Oppressors attacked Toylandia and Buddissland. Unlike earlier wars, this conflict involved both human and Toylandian forces, forcing a large-scale mobilization. Many Toylandians and Budanese took refuge in Toyland America. Under President/King AJ’s leadership, Toylandia successfully repelled the human aggressor forces, marking a crucial period that led to Toylandia asserting its independence and demonstrating its strategic and diplomatic influence in Toy-world.
Coronation of Queen Cathleen (October 2020): In October 2020, Dr. Jean Cathleen Makroy, a beloved physician, human, and then-President of Toylandia, was officially crowned Queen Cathleen. Appointed by King AJ for her widespread respect and leadership, her coronation symbolized a blending of human and Toy leadership within Toylandia. During her reign, the ceremonial powers of the monarchy were complemented by King FF, who undertook the practical duties of governance. King FF guided the decision-making process for Toylandia’s transition into a recognized micronation, working closely with the Toy-world Security Council (TSC) and ToyVille Corporation to ensure both political stability and international recognition.

Quala Bears’ Proposed Law (Late 2020): Around the same period, the Quala Bears, a prominent group within Toy-world society, proposed a new law aimed at regulating trade, resource allocation, and inter-nation commerce. The law reflected Toy-world’s increasing complexity post-wars and the rising importance of economic policies. While debated within the UNTW, this law demonstrated the growing influence of non-monarchic actors, signaling a shift toward more participatory governance in international Toy-world affairs.

The Architect Era began in March 2021 when a human known as Architect Neil arrived in the living Toyland under the orders of Toylandian authorities to implement the New Toylandian Paradise construction. This project aimed to establish a new, modernized territory for Toylandians and Budanese displaced by previous conflicts. However, the era quickly turned chaotic when Architect Neil abandoned the project in July 2021, leaving construction incomplete and the Toy-world on the brink of systemic collapse. The era witnessed widespread loss of historical artifacts, deaths, disappearances, and the disappearance of personal wealth and property, threatening the survival of Toy-world’s civilizations.
In September 2021, Mickey Bot, having married Ifor Choi and adopted her last name, became Mickey Choi and ran for Toylandian President. His platform framed him as a populist and “truth-teller” who questioned the authority of the Toy-world monarchy. Mickey Choi’s rise represented a direct challenge to the monarchy, as he succeeded Toychica A-Royal and consolidated executive power, demonstrating the fragility of traditional Toy-world institutions during the crisis.

The Toy-world Order, a system determining which nation holds executive authority over Toy-world, was redefined in October 2021. King FF announced that the most powerful nation would take the executive role to enforce Toy-world governance. Initially, Baksus was designated for this role, but the position shifted to Toylandia once the Architect Era concluded, signaling the restoration of centralized Toy-world authority.

In the same month, the UTC joined the micronation framework as the Toylandian Empire, marking the first international recognition of Toy-world governance structures. Under the guidance of Kingstopium and welcomed by Balzi, the UTC began consolidating influence, eventually evolving into the recognized United Toy-world Commonwealth.

The Architect Era officially ended in December 2021, but its aftermath persisted. Nations grappled with incomplete infrastructure, displaced populations, and social upheaval. The era left a lasting legacy: it tested the authority of the Toy-world Security Council, demonstrated vulnerabilities in governance, and reshaped political power dynamics, particularly highlighting the rise of Mickey Choi and the temporary weakening of the monarchy.
The Post-Architect Era began in December 2021, immediately after the official end of the Architect Era. This period marked a Renaissance of Toylandia and Toy-world, characterized by an economic, cultural, and technological revival after the widespread losses and chaos left by Architect Neil’s abandonment of the New Toylandian Paradise construction. This period wasn't a period for toy-world to recover, instead, it was a period that still carries the problems that the architect era brought to the planet and it only brings back Toy-world from its feet. The Renaissance was driven by a renewed emphasis on rebuilding infrastructure, reviving trade, restoring historical artifacts, and reestablishing governance and social stability across Toy-world nations.
During this period, Toylandia undertook concerted efforts to stabilize the population, economy, and culture, addressing lingering crises such as Typhoon Odette’s destruction, the rat epidemic, and vulnerabilities to human intrusions. The Toy-world Security Council (TSC) continued to provide oversight, ensuring that reconstruction efforts aligned with the safety and continuity of Toy-world institutions.
The Architect Era caused Toy-World’s greatest economic fall — industries collapsed, nations withdrew from trade, and automation reached a dangerous peak.
The Post-Architect Recovery Plan focuses on rebuilding creativity and restoring toy labor dignity through limited robotics policy and artistic employment programs.
In March 2022, a major symbolic event was the coronation of King Freddy, a Toy and popular celebrity appointed by King Consort FF. King Freddy’s coronation was celebrated as a unifying moment for Toylandians, reinforcing the monarchy’s ceremonial and cultural significance while demonstrating Toy-world’s recovery and renewed stability. Under his reign, governance combined public engagement, cultural revival, and support for technological progress.
Simultaneously, the New Toylandian Paradise construction resumed in late November 2023, bringing new hope to Toylandians and Budanese displaced during the Architect Era. The TSC theorized that human forces might attempt to destabilize Toylandia’s recovery, so the resumption of construction was not only a physical rebuilding but also a political and symbolic assertion of Toylandia’s sovereignty and resilience. The presence of Toylandian and Budanese leadership inspecting and managing the construction served as a public demonstration that Toylandia would endure and continue to thrive despite past crises.

The Post-Architect Era culminated on June 24, 2024, with the completion of the New Toylandian Paradise, officially ending the struggles inherited from the Architect Era. This milestone marked Toylandia’s transformation into a more stable, economically powerful, and culturally revitalized nation, setting the stage for further technological advancements such as the later development of Stringline 3.0 and the expansion of Toylandian influence across Toy-world.
