The Kepler Kingdom traces its origins to the Island of South Park, a Mossybottom sister nation that had already ceased to exist by the early 2020s. Toylandians established a small territory there to serve as a welcoming point for humans entering Toylandia. During the Architect Era, which divided many Toylandians and Budanese into smaller territories and nations, the Kepler Kingdom was formally created in April 2021 by 3rd Teddy and his son 5th Teddy Royal, both prominent figures in Toy-world media. They named the kingdom after the “out-of-this-world” environment of South Park and gave it the title Tierra de las Sobrevivientes (Land of the Survivors) to reflect the post-Apocalyptic cultural influences.

Initially, the reign of King 5th Teddy was peaceful, but over time he began seeking more personal power. An assassination attempt on him by Mickey Bot was foiled by the loyal general, Mr. Pasqually, a former chef and musician. Recognizing the potential dangers of unchecked power, 3rd Teddy and King 5th Teddy transferred the crown to Pasqually in May 2021, who expanded the kingdom across the island and ruled with kindness and fairness. Pasqually’s reign ended abruptly when a mysterious assassin killed him weeks after his coronation, passing the throne to Chuck E, who became the 3rd King of Kepler. 

During the early period of King Chuck E’s rule, the kingdom entered a brief Golden Age. This period was marked by economic stabilization, cultural revival, and media resurgence. Chuck E’s governance, along with his wife Queen Elma, initially brought prosperity and admiration from the people. However, domestic conflicts arose when jealousy over the queen’s popularity escalated, culminating in Chuck E pushing Queen Elma off a cliff during a confrontation. She survived, aided by the royal maid Angel Laxin, who was vacationing in Baksus. Using the Stringline communication system, Angel guided Queen Elma to build a raft and escape to Baksus, where she remained hidden for safety.

Following Queen Elma’s departure, Chuck E remarried Orca Jefferson, granddaughter of the founder of Jefferson Transpo, who became the new queen. During this period, King Warror of Baksus visited Kepler for a royal state visit, forming a friendship with Chuck E’s son, Prince Jack Frost, both having lost their parents.

In July 2021, President Toychica A-Royal of Toylandia, acting to revive the Toylandian Republic, asserted her authority over Kepler and punished Chuck E for his mistreatment of Queen Elma. Toylandia, in coordination with Baksus, initiated the construction of the New Toyland City in Toymerica, prompting migration from Kepler to this temporary city and leaving Kepler vulnerable to internal terrorist activity led by Mickey Bot. His group dissipated after a major earthquake struck the kingdom.

Queen Orca later divorced Chuck E and married a young Budanese named Ken Choi, who became Ken Choi Jefferson, continuing the practice in Toy-world of males adopting their wife’s surname to preserve family names. After the Architect Era ended in December 2021, Kepler had suffered greatly, losing influence and stability. However, with economic and military support from Toylandia and Baksus, the kingdom gradually revived.

King Chuck E died in June 2022, and Prince Jack Frost ascended to the throne, receiving substantial aid that transformed Kepler from a weakened post-Architect state into the 2nd greatest nation at the time. The capital, Kepleria City, was developed into a modern metropolis outside the Living Toyland. 

In mid-2023, Jack Frost visited Toylandia for a genetically engineered heir, presenting his new son Prince George Brown. In March 2024, while disguised as a tourist in Toylandia, Prince George met Amelia Jefferson, the great-granddaughter of Queen Orca and Ken Jefferson. They married in April 2024, adding another member to the royal family.

In July 2024, a cave discovery in Kepleria City revealed that Queen Elma had survived and was brought back to meet the royal family, earning her the title Queen Mother of Kepler. In August 2024, Princess Amelia gave birth to Princess Victoria Elma, named after her grandmother, further cementing the royal lineage.

Regarding governance, the kingdom transitioned from monarchical appointments to a parliamentary system in August 2025, when Prime Minister Jack Green retired and the Keplerian Parliament was created. Amelia Green, by coincidence the daughter-in-law of Jack Green, was chosen as the first female Prime Minister by her fellow Liberal Party MPs, marking the establishment of a democratic framework within the Kepler Kingdom.
