The USVI State Wildlife Action Plan will continue to follow the required revision schedule, with a comprehensive update submitted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service no later than September 30, 2035. However, because the SWAP now exists as an interactive website, it is designed to function as a living document. This format allows for timely updates as new information becomes available, species statuses change, or emerging threats and opportunities are identified. Interim updates will be incorporated on an ongoing basis, ensuring the Plan remains current, responsive, and reflective of the best available science.
