Portfolio Summary

My journey as an educator has been a tapestry woven across countries and disciplines. With a passion for Physics, I've guided students in both Indonesia and Malaysia, navigating internationally-recognized curricula like Cambridge Assessment International Education [CAIE] and International Baccalaureate [IB]. While my CAIE and IB expertise blossomed abroad, I honed my education skills in my early years in the Philippines.

In addition to Physics, I also nurtured young minds with Science in Malaysia and now ignite creativity through STEAM classes in Indonesia. My impact extends beyond students, empowering colleagues both within my school through Instructional Coaching and beyond through training / webinars and online 1:1 meetings.

Leadership and expertise are second nature. As the Head of Science and the Cambridge Centre Exams Officer at the same time, I seamlessly blend leadership with being the guide for members of the Science Department  and the school's assessment and exam administration guru.

I'm a firm believer in lifelong learning. My journey began with a Physics degree from Philippine Normal University, followed by a distinguished Master in Education, major in Physics, from De La Salle University. My thirst for knowledge led me to University of Makati for further exploration. Government scholarships like DOST-SEI, DepED-NEAP, and DepED-SMART fueled my commitment to education.

Recognizing that learning evolves, I constantly update myself through trainings, workshops, and certifications. From Cambridge Exam Officer training to Syllabus Teaching / Marking to Google Certified Champion credentials, I embrace diverse learning opportunities. My pursuit extends to EdTech, STEM/STEAM courses, and certifications from STEM.org, Coursera / University of Colorado Boulder, Apple, Microsoft, Kami, and many others.

My journey is a testament to the transformative power of education. As a global educator, I'm not just a teacher, but a lifelong learner, a leader, and a mentor, committed to inspiring young minds and empowering fellow educators across borders.
