Description

Pupils from Léon Lin School , Ducos Martinique and pupils from P.Faliro, Athens, Greece, will examine the place of objects in their daily lives.

In particular, they will question their use, their life, their future: Are they going to end up being polluting waste or can they become Artwork? Polluting waste or Artwork?

Objectives

Mother tongue and English: To understand and express oneself using the languages ​​spoken and written.

Literature: Listen to and read youth Literature on Planet Protection and Recycling.

Write an electronic pop-up book ( and a technical specification sheet on making an art object (toy, musical instrument ...)

Artistic education: To develop students’ artistic culture, their imagination and their creative sense by questioning the works and taking inspiration from the plastic processes of cubist, surrealist artists and current urban artists (Picasso, Dali, Bordado II ...)

Education for Sustainable development : To give our pupils the opportunity :

1-to develop civic consciousness and a critical point of view of the world that is surrounding them and affects their own behavior (questioning the future world).

2-To put into practice the first notions of eco-management of the environment through simple individual or collective actions: waste management, paper, water and energy savings (lighting, heating ...)

Living: Wondering about the plants used to create the extraordinary and sustainable garden of the school.

Materials and objects : to question the materials that make up objects, to recycle objects, to reuse them to create new ones.

Mathematics: Understand and use mathematical language to compare and describe, to reproduce shapes, to measure lengths and volumes, to arrange different places and spaces.
