To begin this week, we worked on four starter projects. A paper bridge, a small-scale windmill, a battery tester, and an electric motor.

We designed and tested a truss bridge made from just balsa wood and hot glue. The bridge, although quite light, was able to have 95+ pounds of bricks travel across on a wheeled cart.

We also designed and tested a windmill which when a fan blows wind, the windmill spins and activates an LED.
