Our co-located conference will be held in Straub Hall room 145. Straub Hall is located in the center of campus between the Erb Memorial Union (EMU) and the Student Recreation Center (see map). The Hall is one the of the oldest buildings on campus and was originally constructed in 1928 to serve as a men’s dormitory. The building underwent renovations in 1975 so that it may house the Psychology Department as well as lecture halls and research laboratories. Straub Hall is now home to both the Psychology Department and Linguistics Department after further renovations; however, it still maintains its historic charm. The Hall is also a very short walk away from the newly constructed Hayward Field that famously hosts the Olympic Track and Field Trials, along with various other national and international track and field events, contributing to Eugene’s reputation as Track Town USA.
