Step 5 - Job Reservation

This is one of the easiest steps in the process. While you are in the DEP, STAY QUALIFIED! Don't get into trouble with the law, keep your bills paid, and stay healthy!

In the mean time, go over the material in the Aim High app and attend DEP Calls. These are typically once a month, but your recruiter may hold them more often. These are required to attend. If you know you won't be able to make it, let us know as soon as possible.

Once the great machine of job selection completes its process, you'll be assigned a job. This will let us know the date you are leaving for BMT. The Air Force and Space Force get you a job first, then get you to BMT. This is so you go from BMT straight to Tech School. No waiting around in super hot San Antonio waiting to find out where you are going.

After you get notified you have been selected for a job, you will initial your contract to accept the position. After that, keep staying qualified and preparing to leave.
