Yes. If you chose to stay in a cottage, they will have their own toilet/bathrooms. If you are camping, there will be a total of 8 gender neutral toilets/bathrooms for you to use. Not all bathrooms have access to hot water. If you are particular about hot water, you can use the three bathrooms closer to the reception area.
There will be mobile coverage near the reception and kitchen area. Mobile coverage is pretty slim in the camping area. You can go to the reception area if you need to make an urgent phone call or check on loved ones back home. We encourage a digital detox while at the festival.
If you are camping, you will have access to limited charging docks at the reception area. Please bring your own power bank so that you dont have to rely on these limited charging stations.
With it being a festival setting, it will be impossible for us to ensure that you don't get photographed. If your photograph is posted on ŪRU Festival instagram page and you are not comfortable with it, please let the ŪRU team know and we will be more than happy to take it down.
ŪRU is all about providing a safe space for the queer community. It is a space that encourages and celebrates diversity. You'll be able to express yourself freely without fear of any judgements. It is a space for the queer community and allies. Not everyone at the festival will be queer. Not everyone at the festival will be straight. We all have a responsibility to be respectful to one another. We have to understand and respect boundaries. Let's live and let live.
