Public Participation in up coming Permit Application Process
Brightmark will be applying for a Synthetic Minor Permit. Once they do, the public will be notified of a period of time (usually 30 days) where the public can submit comments to express opposition to the permit application for Brightmark. Stay tuned as we watch for this notification from EPD and we will update our website and Facebook page with any new information regarding the process.
The Synthetic Minor Permit is just a formality regulating Brightmark to restrict their potential emissions to that below a major source. This may keep them from having a Title V permit. Remember, they already have a Synthetic Minor Permit permit in Indiana.
