Lean over a flat, stable surface, using the unaffected limb to support the weight of the body.
Let the residual limb hang down
Slowly move the residual limb by moving the body, changing directions after one minute
Move it in a clockwise circle
Move it counterclockwise
Move the limb forwards and backwards
Move the limb side to side
4. Let gravity move the arm, do not engage or lift the limb with the shoulder muscles.
