Between February and July 2026, we received 27 book donations from UP Manila faculty members and university offices. 

These contributions focus heavily on key disciplines, including occupational therapy, gender studies, and clinical research.

| Future-Ready REPS: Practical IA for the Workplace

The UP Manila librarians participated in the workshop organized by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE) - Research Management and Translation Office (RMTO) titled "Future-Ready REPS: Practical AI for the Workplace" on 25 June 2026 at the UP-PGH Social Hall.

The workshop equipped the librarians with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance workplace productivity, communication and research support.

| HealthyHER: Alagang HATID, Lakas ng Kababaihan

On 15 April 2026, the UP Manila Healthy University Office, UP Health Services, and University Library, UP Manila hosted the the first Health at Work: Health Assessment, Testing, Immunization, and Demonstration Caravan (HAW: Hatid Caravan) for the year with the theme “HealthyHER: Alagang HATID, Lakas ng Kababaihan" at the Joaquin Gonzales Compound Lobby and Online via Zoom. 

The activity featured health service booths offering screenings, testing, immunization, and demonstrations, alongside a health information session with expert talks on women’s immunization and PhilHealth YAKAP.
