Common types of intellectual property rights include copyrights, trademarks, patents, design rights, and trade secrets in some jurisdictions.
In the legal context, intellectual property encompasses human creativity, including musical, literary, and artistic works; inventions; and symbols, names, images, and designs used in business. These include copyrights, trademarks, patents, and other related rights.
