My learning link leadership education (free): The Learning Navigator | Insite (albertahealthservices.ca) site has a list of many leadership courses. If you click on any of these courses, they will take you to: MyLearningLink at: https://insite.albertahealthservices.ca/hr/Page1881.aspx - Once you are logged into MyLearningLink, go to (on the left hand side) Courses & Registration and then in the Search By Category box, select: Employee and Leadership Education. This will provide a long list of online, classroom and blended leadership development courses/workshops.
AHS Development Conversations and Coaching (free) – This website has a lot of great resources: Development Conversations | Insite (albertahealthservices.ca) – this first site is an AHS Human Resources site but has a lot of resources about development conversation to foster individual growth and development for your team members. You will see that on this webpage, there are further resources for leaders (which you can also access) as well as other resources on how to “Strengthen your Coaching Skills”
Harvard Manage Mentor (free for all AHS employees) – this is a great program accessible at: Harvard ManageMentor (V12) Online Leadership Program (edls.com) – there are 40 modules addressing so many aspects of leadership (e.g. budgeting, attracting and cultivating talent, innovation implementation, negotiating, team management, persuading authors). You can register using your AHS email and then use the password “welcome”. This takes you into this great Harvard Course with lots of videos, tools, etc.

eCornell – they also have many online leadership certificates (and other programs offered) that are great. I took one of those 2 years ago and still have access to all the videos, toolkits, files, etc. They also have ongoing symposia several times a year for alumni that are free (usually 3 consecutive days for 2 hours each day).
