For the public benefit, the promotion of social, physical and good mental health, by organising accessible group activities and social interaction, in particular but not exclusively, group lunches, walks, bowling, and gym, for visually impaired adults living in Fareham, Gosport and Portsmouth, who are socially excluded, and so to help them feel integrated into society.

Unless approved by 3 committee members, new members must attend at least 4 group events before being added to the group's social media. Until that time they will receive details of group activities via email. Members must attend at least six activities of any sort each year (April to March), and are encouraged to attend the AGM.
A membership form must be completed and fee paid before membership will begin. The committee do not receive payment for their work planning activities and fees are kept to a minimum to cover the general costs of the group and reviewed as and when necessary.
The friend/partner/carer of a visually impaired member is welcome to attend activities without paying the membership fee as long as they complete the membership form and abide by the same rules.
A list of all members will be kept by the secretary.
