Through an Ocean Action Grant, I utilized pre-production plastic pellets as fillings of percussion-based musical instruments such as maracas. Participants from U of T Family Care learnt about pre-production plastic pellet pollution, a contributor to plastic pollution, and had the opportunity to play the instruments they made together at the end of the workshop with real percussion instruments from U of T’s Hart House Orchestra.

Through an Eco-Action Accelerator grant, I wrote and directed my first stop-motion film which premiered at Patagonia Toronto on Oct. 17, 2024. Life of a Pellet is a short stop-motion animation film made from pre-production plastic pellets and trash to tell the tale of this lesser known source of plastic pollution in lake Ontario as well as the types of trash traps in place by the U of T Trash Team.
