Before starting your group discussion, every participant must individually complete our short, anonymous reflection survey on the meta-level of our teamwork:
👉 Reflection on Intercultural Group Work – Formular ausfüllen (Click here to fill out the survey)
Once everyone has completed the survey, gather with your working group. Review the survey questions and reflect on your week together:
Tuckman Check (The 4 Team Phases): Detail your team's complete journey through all four stages:
Forming: How did you get to know each other initially?
Storming: What was your biggest "Storming" moment/friction, and how did you overcome it?
Norming: How did you establish rules, distribute roles, and agree on your working style?
Performing: How did you work smoothly together to achieve your results?
Cultural Dynamics (Hall & Hofstede): How did different cultural backgrounds (e.g., direct vs. indirect communication, perception of time, handling of hierarchy) impact your daily workflow?
Behavioral Takeaways & Future Change: Based on the insights gained during this project, what will each individual team member do differently next time they work in an international or intercultural group? Which specific behaviors or habits will you change?
Based on your group discussion, create a concise 4-slide PowerPoint presentation using the exact structure below:
Slide 1: Tuckman Check – Document your team’s progression through all four phases (Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing), detailing how you handled initial introductions, overcame your biggest "Storming" moment, distributed roles, established rules, and achieved efficient collaboration.Â
Slide 2: Cultural Dynamics (Hall & Hofstede) – Outline how cultural backgrounds, communication styles, and time perception shaped your daily workflow.
Slide 3: Behavioral Takeaways & Future Change – Summarize what individual team members plan to do differently in future intercultural settings based on your insights.
Slide 4: Making-Of Summary – Write a concise text consisting of exactly four sentences in continuous text ("Fließtext") summarizing your team's overall experience (covering points 1 to 3). This text is designed to be copied directly onto our website's "Making-Of" page. Digital Submission for the Website: Once your 4-sentence summary text is finalized on Slide 4, one designated representative from your group must open the following MS Forms link, paste the text into the field, and submit it so it can be published directly on our website's "Making-Of" page:

To conclude our project, each group will present their 4 slides to the entire group, sharing your core insights, experiences, and lessons learned with everyone before we head home.
