Overview
The University of Washington Bothell's main resource for student recreation is provided by the Activities & Recreation Center (ARC) as they contain a wide variety of options for students to choose from (e.g., a training gym, group fitness programs, outdoor wellness programs, organized sports, and even card/board games, and alternative gaming!). Additionally, they provide free rentals for outdoor equipment through the Nest Gear Shop!
The UWB Events Calendar is a way for students to take a look at what is taking place at the university (both in-person and virtually!). Students can find out about events directly provided by the university, departments within the university, and even student clubs! Throughout the year the university hosts many fun events that help students take a break from the academic life and connect with other students. Some events even provide souvenirs, prizes, and snacks or light refreshments!
Tips
We encourage that you attend to at least one even provided by the university. Most of the events are free of charge (or charge a small amount) and they truly provide unforgetable experiences. They are also a great way to connect with other people that share your same interests, and even learn about additional resources that may be available to you

The UWB Events Calendar provides students with all of the events that departments, units, and clubs host. This includes both virtual and in-person events, as well as events hosted by UWS (to which UWB students can also attend to!). Additionally, the UWB Events Calendar page is also the home for Gather UWB, which is a website that provides information about student club activities. This provides students with lots of fun events in which you can connect with the UWB community and have a great time!
How to Navigate the Calendar
What is it?
This content is like a sculpture—it's still taking its final form.
The UWB Events Calendar is administrated by the Office of Marketing & Communications. They also provide a page dedicated to event calendar help, which is mainly for those who post their events on the calendar, however, at the bottom of their page they provide a list of the contact info of each unit's primary calendar manager, which are the ones in charge of updating and maintaining accuracy within their calendars. Therefore, if you aren't able to find a contact for an event/club, you can reach out to them and ask who might be able to provide you the information that you are looking for.
