EEWA Conjuration Pillar and Hanuman Altar Guide A quick guide for helping those looking to defeat the EEWA Ultra Bosses or the Son of the Devourer. By: SageWayren Images provided by Stormy * * * * * In recent updates, a few things have changed. Baron of Oblivion no longer exists on his rocky perch off the volcano face above the Black Keep, and now, ancient rumbling begins to stir in the depths beneath the Unnamed City. The Son of the Devourer awakens, and it is from him that you must now harvest the Heart of Oblivion! I’ve written this guide in an attempt to try to cover the new content to a small extent, and to help you understand what is needed to summon the Ultra Bosses, and the new Son of the Devourer. * * * * * The Hanuman Altar Located in the center of K7, just south of Messenger’s Respite The mechanics of the Hanuman Altar have remained largely unchanged with regards to summoning the Ultra Bosses. All that has really changed is that instead of summoning the boss to fight here, you craft their Corrupted Souls with the same recipe as before, and then take their soul and place it within the Conjuration Pillar (explained below). What you need: Eyes of Hanuman - relatively low drop rate from the 4 imps guarding the Hanuman Altar, and also from Grey Apes located around the Witch Queen’s Palace. This is necessary to interact with the altar. Blood Sacrifice - You will need to knock out a thrall and drag their unconscious body to the shrine. Interact with it to sacrifice them, which leaves a vial of blood in the altar. It will take approximately 3 of these vials to fuel the altar long enough to craft a single soul. The Keystone - you will need one of these to craft each of the Ultra Boss souls. Instructions for where and how to collect the required materials to craft this can be found at the official wiki, at https://conanexiles.fandom.com/wiki/The_Keystone . EEWA dungeon bosses and greater bounty bosses (Lufk, Lurker, Crystal Rocknose King, Locust Nightmare, Hellcats, and Awakened Giants) all have a chance to drop random Keystone parts, so farming these is a good way to get ahead on these mats. You can also farm the new Corrupted Gates that have sprung up around the map, they provide a decent number of Corrupted Keystone Shards, which can be taken to the Chaosmouth altar and combined into keystones (3 per keystone). Each of the Ultra Bosses require one Additional ingredient to craft their soul, which is one of the Keystone materials, as follows: Ultra Kinscourge requires a Tears of Two Races Ultra Witch Queen requires a Mask of the Witch Queen Ultra The King Beneath requires a Diadem of the Giant-Kings If you wish to craft the United Soul for the Son of the Devourer, you must first craft all three Corrupted Souls, and then combine those souls in the Hanuman Altar. Now that you have their souls, it is time to go to the new Conjuration Pillar! * * * * * The Conjuration Pillar: This is a new boss arena, where you will use the souls you crafted at the Hanuman Altar to summon those bosses to fight! Located beneath the Unnamed City, there are two entrances into this subterranean arena. The first of which is located inside Deathwhisper ruins in I6, directly behind the Executioner three-skull boss inside the cave The second entrance is located along the northwestern outer wall of Unnamed City. However, if you have Age of Calamitous installed, the second entrance will not be accessible, as that mod overhauls the terrain, leaving this entrance buried. Exiting the Conjuration chamber from this entrance on the inside should place you on top of the rock outcrop, but be aware that there is a chance that a player may exit within the mesh and be stuck or fall to their death. Hosav is aware of this, and is working on a fix or workaround to allow an entrance for players with AoC installed. In order to access either of these entrances, the player(s) will each need an Acheronian Sigil Key Which can be obtained as a semi-rare drop from EEWA dungeon bosses and Greater Bounty bosses: Lufks, Lurkers, Crystal Rocknose King, Hellcats, Locust Nightmares, and Awakened Giants. If you have been farming these bosses for Keystone ingredients, it is likely that you will already have obtained a key. Note* if the player dies inside without a bedroll, and needs to re-enter the arena, they will require an additional key each time they enter. Plan for this accordingly. Once inside, the player will interact with the Pillar in the center of the chamber, and place the corresponding soul within it in order to summon the boss that they wish to fight. Once summoned, the pillar will retreat into the floor and be unable to be interacted with until either the fight has concluded or the timer has expired. Each boss now has a limited time in which it may be fought. If that time limit is exceeded, the boss will despawn, and the Conjuration Pillar will again rise in the center of the room. Bosses may be summoned consecutively while in the room, but you may not summon more than one at a time. IMPORTANT NOTE! Admins do not force kill these bosses via Shift+Delete or other similar methods. This will cause the pillar to become bugged and not re-appear until a server restart is performed.
