The Mathematics Graduate Seminar is a biweekly academic and social event of the Graduate Mathematics Society. The seminar's primary goal is to foster a supportive environment where postdocs, graduate students and undergraduate students can talk about their ideas and practice their presentation skills. In this effort, the talks will be 30 minutes long, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A. The talks should be at a level that is approachable to first-year graduate students or advanced undergraduate students. Refreshments will be served afterwards, and we encourage participants to safely socialize with each other.
If you have inquiries about the seminar, please contact the current VP Academic, UMGSA Representative or the President. You can find more info on the executives page.
