TIPS Certification is the state-mandated certification to serve alcohol. Anyone 18 or older is eligible to get TIPS Certified!
TIPS-certification is required to:
Touch or handle alcohol, including restocking fridges
Open beer and wine containers, pour wine or draft beer
Check IDs or decide if someone needs to be carded
Work at Beer Carts
Group members who have an active alcohol-service certification received elsewhere do NOT need to re-certify through concessions! Just send us an image of their TIPS-card or other proof of certification and we will update our records!
