CHECKLIST
In this list you will find most of the things you need for an ultra triathlon, be it for a training camp, for a competition or any other ultra activity. Of course it is my personal version and your needs may differ. But I guess it is a good example for any serious athlete.
If there is anything important I have forgotten please let me know. Send me an eMail to gunter.pilz@gmail.com .

recommendations
when flying to an event
when buying your flight(s) don't forget to reserve space for the bike
pack other items together with your bike in the bike box
usually the maximum weight for the bike box is 32 kg
when you check in, check in the bike first, so if the box is overweight you can put some titems into your suitcase
when it rains
put on rainwear immediately to stay as dry as possible
use rubbish bags to keep clothes etc dry
various
bring some small gifts for the organizer(s), maybe something typical from your country
volunteers
when volunteers you don't know help you because you have no team of your own sit down together with them before the race and explain exactly everything important
