This game was my first jam experience. The fact that it was done during an end-of-student project made it particularly intense and I keep a very good memory of it despite the perfectibility of the game.

The decision to go for a hero shooter direction was made early in the development process, emphasizing the creation of characters with distinct identities. . I personally designed the character of Camelia with the intention of making her easy to understand yet formidable when mastered. My inspiration primarily drew from the exhilarating feeling of executing a perfect combo in Guitar Hero. As a result, Camelia's character is equipped with fast shots, but with the constraint of a limited magazine. However, a fully emptied magazine on a target proves lethal.
The ultimate ability was designed to evoke a moment of invincibility for the player. To achieve this, Camelia has only one limit to lift to reveal her full potential, her limited magazine. Activating Camelia's ultimate unleashes a formidable rain of bullets upon her opponents.
Once all the champions were designed, I was in charge of balancing them. While I had previous experience with balancing, this marked my first attempt in a competitive multiplayer game. The challenge was to ensure that none of the characters were too powerful or too weak in comparison to others.
To address this, I created an Excel spreadsheet that allowed me to calculate the main dynamics of the fights, facilitating balancing without waiting for their implementation in the engine. In This approach enabled me to identify the main synergies between the characters, and the balancing efforts resulted in a game with balanced characters, even though it was impossible to extensively test them during the game's development .
