To review how to correct missing punches, you can either watch this example video or follow the step-by-step instructions below.

After you tap "Start Shift," you will be prompted an the error message if you have any missing punches (see image below).
If you would like to fix these missing punches, select "Yes," and then tap "Next."
You will be asked to fix each missed punch date one at a time. Make sure to add the AM or PM on the punch when correcting it. Incorrect AM or PM slots will cause errors.Β
Tap "Select a date," enter the time that is missing, and tap "Next."Β
π You are not required to add in any additional notes when fixing a missed punch.
You can tapΒ on the "My Timecard" tile's arrow to fix your punches. Make sure to add the AM or PM on the punch when correcting it. Incorrect AM or PM slots will cause errors.Β
After you tap that arrow, you will be taken to your timecard. Here, you can Approve or Remove Approval for a date's punches.
πIf you have approved your timecard, you won't be able to make changes without first removing approval. You will see the error in the screenshot below and will need to fix it within your timecard.
πPurple 12 AM Punches can be caused by a few different things.
If an employee has no schedule on their timecard.
These purple punches act as placeholders and will disappear as the employee continues to punch.
Adding a schedule will also clear any Purple Punches caused by this.
If an employee incorrectly adds a punch that puts them to the next day (7:35 AM instead of 7:35 PM).
This is corrected by either deleting/editing the punch and replacing it with the correct time code.
