The 2025 UKACM conference will be held at Queen Mary University of London

Queen Mary University of London has a long, proud and distinctive history built on four historic institutions stretching back to 1785 and beyond. Queen Mary has been ranked joint 7th in the UK for the quality of its research, with 92 per cent of its research assessed as internationally excellent or world-leading (REF 2021).  Queen Mary is one of 24 leading UK universities represented by the Russell Group. It has nine Nobel Prize winners among its former staff and students. 

The UKACM2025 conferenc will be held at the Mile End Campus of Queen Mary University of London. Nestled in the heart of London, the university is well-connected, and easily accessible. Situated in the culturally rich East End, the university’s location provides easy access to the city’s extensive transport networks.  

The conference will be taking place at Queen Mary University of London, Art Two Centre (Building 35 on the map), Mile End Road, London E1 4NS.

Stepney Green Tube (District Line) 

Stepney Green tube station is on the District and Hammersmith and City lines. Turn left out of the station and walk along Mile End Road for approximately 5 minutes until you reach the Front Lawn/Clock Tower entrance on your left. 

Mile End Tube (Central Line) 

Mile End tube station is on the Central line. Turn left out of the station, cross over the junction, walk under the bridge and along Mile End Road for approximately 2 minutes. You will see the East Gate on the opposite side of the road. The East Gate will be recognisable by a big ‘Queen Mary’ banner on the wall next to it. 

Mile End Bus (From Central London)

The Mile End campus is based on Mile End Road, on the 25 and 205 bus routes, with a stop right outside the campus.

Check-in information

Please head to the Check-In Desk upon arrival to collect your name badge and printed conference booklet. If you are presenting, please make a stop in the foyer of the Graduate Centre, Peoples Palace, and/or Engineering Building to collect a hot drink and pastry.

If you have booked the dinner on Thursday, this will be noted on your name badge – so please remember to take it with you in the evening!  

If you registered after 31 August, you won’t have a pre-printed name badge. We will have blank inserts for you to write your name on.

Presenting locations

Queen Mary University of London boasts a variety of well equipped lecture halls, foyers, and laboratories that will be made available for all presenters during the course of the conference.

The Art Two Lecture Theatre at Events & Hospitality QM at Queen Mary University of London is a Academic Venue Room located in London. It can accommodate a maximum of 304 in a theatre style set up.
