As we celebrate four successful cohorts of Undergraduates Gaining Research Opportunities for the Cancer Workforce (U-GROW), we invite you to shape the future of cancer research. By donating to U-GROW, you empower promising college students from high cancer-impact communities to become cancer researchers. Your generosity today prepares for tomorrow's fight against cancer.

Three Levels of Giving:

Expanding Horizons - $10,000:

Your support empowers students to explore their potential in the field of cancer research with the opportunity to attend a conference to present their research.

Championing Access - $40,000:

Your support offers vital training, housing, and meals for our scholars at the week-long Summer Institute at the outset of the program. This training propels scholars toward impactful careers in cancer research by introducing them to a robust network of role models and potential mentors.

Students are recruited from all eight CSU campuses in the greater Los Angeles area, including Channel Islands, San Bernardino, and Long Beach. Some drive up to 50 miles each way to participate in the Summer Institute and research internships.

Propelling Scientific Progress - $100,000:

At the $100,000 giving level, you make a substantial investment in Los Angeles's future cancer workforce. This donation provides support directly to our scholars by funding their summer internships at Cedars-Sinai.

Donors will receive important updates on nonprofit activities, impacts, and forthcoming initiatives in addition to acknowledgment of their support on the U-GROW website and special events.
