Applying to U-GROW

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

We welcome applications from students who meet the following criteria:

• •  CSU juniors, seniors, and recent graduates (if you graduated in Spring 2023 or later you are eligible; if you graduated before Spring 2023 you are ineligible) from one of the following LA-area CSU campuses: 

    • • Cal Poly Pomona

      • Channel Islands

      • Dominguez Hills

      • Fullerton

      • Los Angeles

      • Long Beach

      • Northridge

      • San Bernardino 

  • Not currently accepted to a graduate program 

  • Good academic standing (minimum GPA of 3.0)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • An interest in learning about cancer disparities and cancer prevention research is required; research experience is NOT required
