WILLIAM R. NESTER HOUSE

The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house is a huge donation from our alumni to the active chapter which was completed in 2007. The Nester House holds a total of twenty six brothers including the President and Treasurer. The Chapter house boast a large great hall with a large flat screen tv, a full size pool table, and national fraternity and UC memorabilia decorating every wall. The great hall is flanked by a study room and the Alfred C Vogel Library. The Vogel Library was donated by Vogel upon his passing and is filled to the ceiling with chapter awards that have been won on the university and national level. The second floor houses the Gentleman’s Lounge, or the GL, the chapter’s popular hangout room that leads out to the Officer’s Balcony that overlooks Stratford Avenue and Sigma Alpha Epsilon across the street. The second floor also is home to Alpha Xi’s current president and treasurer, in their respective suites. The Nester House’s basement is occupied by our private Chapter Room, kitchen, and social room.
