ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

UC Novato is known for its accredited for its over 140 undergraduate degrees, beautiful mountains and meadows, and vibrant student population. Nestled in the heart of the "Money County" valley, the town of Novato is known for its farming, technology and hydrology based industries. Novato is wide in its diversity and social opportunities, being named 163rd out of 170 in "most diverse cities in California" by the Mississippi Times Magazine. Novato has a wide array of actives such as river rafting on the great Novato River, mountain climbing on Mt. Mountain, the highest point in Marin. Novato features incredible restaurants, with over 13 pizza joints, 8 Mexican restaurants, and 15 fast food establishments. Marin County as a whole has great lakes like Alpine Dam and Stafford Lake. You cant swim in any of these lakes, but they sure do look pretty! UC Novato campus is nestled on the western side of Novato, surrounded by oak trees and a couple deer. The campus is modern, with a rustic feeling. Granted nearly 8 million dollars a year, UC Novato may be the 7th out of 7th funded UC, but this gives our university its charm.
