The Mentored Internship Program (MIP) is an opportunity for UC Merced undergraduate students who are interested in behavioral health and want to gain real-world experience while still in school. Launched in 2022, in collaboration with Merced County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (BHRS), and UC Merced, this program helps students dive into mental health, substance abuse, and social work through hands-on experience.

Dr. Hahn-Holbrook is one of MIP's professors and oversees the PSY192 associated course. She is responsible for communication between students and BHRS, primarily engaging with students to discuss future opportunities and clinical experiences.
