Minister Emeritus?
If you have served as a minister to our club, then once you cease to be a minister of any kind (not Minister of the Treasury to Prime Minister), you receive the title of "Minister Emeritus" as a mark of thanks for your service. The bio from The Ministry page is updated and your entry is moved to this page. A person may have this title whether they are a current or former club member, student, or faculty member at the school.

Alice Wang is a co-founder of the UChicago Conlang Society alongside Ryan and an upperclasswoman in the College studying Physics and Mathematics. She became interested in conlangs through YouTube and NACLO, which she eventually became somewhat proficient at. Outside of UChiConlangs, they are involved with quantum research, various music ensembles, the geography club, and effective altruism on campus.
She is also the creator of our wonderful club flag that we use at top of each page of our website and as our tab icon. It exchanges of the silhouette of the Tower of Babel of the Conlanging flag for one of Mansueto and the Reg.

Ryan O'Farrell is a co-founder of the UChicago Conlang Society alongside Alice and an upperclassman studying mathematics and physics. He is a fluent toki pona speaker. Outside of UChiConlangs, he is involved with many math, physics and music groups as a pianist and composer.

Surya Chinnappa is a graduate of the College with a BA in Linguistics and Cognitive Science, pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Science at Brown University. He is the proud parent of Sukhrumijadri, a fictional language set in his worldbuilding project of 15 years and counting! Besides conlanging, he was active in research on campus, working at psychology and psycholinguistics labs and conducting independent computational linguistics research. He enjoys playing and writing music, origami, and wandering.
