University Communications is looking for an Office and Marketing Assistant. This role is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and office operations. You’ll support many projects that help keep our team running smoothly — and creatively.
Serve as front-desk reception/greeter
Maintain and track hospitality inventory
Assist with data entry, including
Analytics (e.g. web, advertising),
Master calendar updates,
Award opportunity updates,
Accolades
Faculty/Staff giveaway page
Help manage swag inventory and fulfill swag orders
Assist with banner organization, inventory, and lending requests
Provide event support as needed
Provide other support as needed
Manage display board content
All other duties as assigned
Strong written and verbal communication
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Professionalism and reliability
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
