This Graphite Docs project eliminates the need for Google Docs or any other siloed source of shared document editing.
11/15/2019 I haven't tried the install yet and find their instructions confusing, but the following are my notes for future reference.
Go see https://github.com/Graphite-Docs/graphite#install
Clone the reop means to either git clone https://github.com/Graphite-Docs/graphite.git -b master public_html
or use the big green button at the top of that #install page to get the zip file and up-pack it where your web directory will be.
Note: the npm
command implies you already have the npm package manager for the JavaScript programming languageon your server (https://www.npmjs.com/). If you installed Node.js in the past, you probably already have it.
