Third year neuroscience courses are much more diverse in structure and style of learning, meaning how you study will also likely be different for each. Even more important than second year NSCI courses will be really understanding the material and knowing how to apply what you're learning to examples and case studies. Try to think of how the content can be tested and applied as you learn!
PSYC 370 and 371 are the first courses of the Behaviour & Cognition neuroscience stream! They are similar in structure to NSCI 200 and NSCI 201, but the content dives much deeper into sensory processing, perception, and memory in humans. Flashcards are very helpful as there is a lot of content, but try to talk through material and understand how it can be applied and how each topic relates to the other.
BIOL 371 and 372 are the first courses of the Cellular & Molecular neuroscience stream! Similar in style to NSCI 200, these courses dive into the basic foundation of neuroscience and how neurons and the nervous system functions from the ground up. Flashcards and staying up to date on your notes will benefit you in the long run as there is a LOT of content and details to understand.
