PSYC 370 is the first course of the Behavioural & Cognitive stream! In these weekly lectures you will learn the foundations of behaviour and cognition, starting at the level of the neuron. You will learn about each of the five senses, starting from receptors and working your way to where signals are processed and integrated in the brain leading to perception. These topics then lead you to begin to learn about memory and how the five sensory pathways are intertwined.
Flashcards and flow charts are very helpful to help memorize content as well as visualize how it all relates!
