Vision & Goals 

Mission Statement: A statement of the intended goals of the program. 

Goals: Description of the desired educational accomplishments for students. Goals are broad, not specific enough to be measured. 

Point 1. Objectives: steps needed to reach the goals.

Point 2. Objectives are measurable (use action verbs).

Point 3. Objectives are student centered (what the student will do, not what the teacher will do). 

Point 4. Objectives state an outcome, not an activity.

Point 5. Objectives should include higher order thinking skills (Bloom’s Taxonomy).
