ACTIVITIES IN BETWEEN MEETINGS
Visiting libraries,
watching films about the power of voice or the strangling of citizenship
making video clippings from films (in native language) indicative of the power of democracy or a collection of artwork portraying democratic values and human rights or the suppression of them

How can young people be heard on the national and EU level, how can they propose initiatives

ACTIVITIES AT THE MEETING:
Ice breaking activity: Students are given strips of paper with words corresponding to authoritarian government (dictatorship, no elections, censorship,etc.) and in groups they replace them with opposite/positive ones.
Presentation: Students from each country present the subtitled video clippings and explain the time and the situation.
Debate:on the presentation
Workshop: Students bring some translated pieces of writing from their country(extracts from novels, plays, poems etc) promoting anti-democratic behaviours and stands of authority
They role-play the situation to the other groups.
In international groups they discuss about it.
Workshop: Make a mindmap of keywords related to human/civic rights
Workshop: Make a Kahoot game with words related to democracy and democratic ideals
