In TWIS, we believe that learning about ecosystems, plants, life cycle, and more about nature is important for our life. We believe this because not just letting students experiencing the "Organic" but also letting have the knowledge of ecosystems, plants, etc.
In garden class, students learn the diffrent life cycles of animals for example how they live-die, the food chain of animals, survival of the fittest. They also learn what they need to survive, not just food but also sunlight, and other resources. They also learn what animals produce and animals that need the resource that the consumers produce.
In garden class, students learn the way to do their agricuture. They learn the structure of each of the plants. For example what condition each vegetable needs to grow, who needs the plants, the life cycle of it, what nutrients does each vegetable have, and also how it is healthy for us.
Students experience planting seeds of the vegetables. Which it teaches the kids the way it works and also helps to grow the organic farm. They care and grow the farm throughout one unit and then at last, harvesting the vegetables that we grew.
Students also have units where they can have fun and cook their vegtables they grew, and eat it! This teaches the kids the knowledge about the agricuture.
