Type of play: 9 holes using the modified Stableford scoring system.
Scoring based on Net Score per hole:
Albatross or better (<= -3) 8 Pts
Eagle (-2) 5 pts
Birdie (-1) 2 pts
Par (0) 0 pts
Bogey (1) -1 pts
Double or worse (>= 2) -3 pts
The TOPGUN Tournament is to recognize 8 players throughout the league who have the highest average modified Stableford points after 18 weeks of league play. To qualify, players must have completed a minimum of five (5) regular season games.
TOPGUN selection Tie-breakers between players with the same average points: player with most points won shall be selected. If still a tie, player with the most games played shall be selected; if still tied, player with lower handicap shall be selected.
The four players with the lowest handicap will play in the first foursome and the four with the highest handicap will play in the next foursome. Both foursomes will play 9 holes with the player scoring the most points shall be deemed the TOPGUN Champion.
Tie breaker will be determined by the points scored in the lowest handicap hole, then the next and so on. Hole 8, 9, ....
Use season ending handicaps, including playoffs.
