Here is some information about our Twilite Golf League at Agilent Technologies.
Golfers do not need to be employee's of Agilent Technologies.
The league is compromised of four teams led by four Captains. Each team has between 10 and 12 players. Six players from each team go out each week. Each player plays approximately 8 times during the regular season. More play time for those teams that make the playoffs and Topgun Tournament. The league starts in March and ends in August. That's 21 weeks of league play. We play on Monday afternoons. First tee time is 4pm.
Your captain will be collecting a one time fee from each player at the beginning of the season. I collect all fee's up front at beginning of season. The one time fee will cover your rounds of golf, Playoff green fee's, Topgun green fee's, & trophies.
We play Match play type of format.....you will be playing against another player from a different team. You earn points for your team for each hole you win. Go to League Rules to get more details.
Rules: If you are not sure about a rule, ask your teammate or opponent for assistance.
Forfeits: Ugh! please contact your captain if you cannot make your scheduled team time at least the day before you cannot play. Player not showing up means lost points. The league usually ends up at the end of season with not too many points separating them from making the playoffs. Forfeits can cause your team to miss the playoffs! ouch!
Slow Play: please keep up with the group ahead of you. be courteous to your fellow golfers by keeping pace. We should finish your 9 holes in 2 hrs 15 minutes.
