URiM Premed Mentorship Program (WC4BL)

Our Mission

"To dismantle racism and accompanying systems of oppression in health, while simultaneously cultivating means for collective liberation that center the needs, priorities, and self-determination of Black people and other people of color, particularly those most marginalized in our communities." - whitecoats4blacklives.org

One of the ways the Tufts Chapter of White Coats for Black Lives aims to empower Black people within healthcare is through our pre-med mentorship program. This program pairs small groups of students at various points in their pre-med journeys with current medical students in order to facilitate an environment where underrepresented students can find community, advice, and guidance on their path to medical school.
