The goal of this club is to foster collaboration across various disciplines, including human and veterinary medicine, psychology, clinical care, and environmental health. These pillars function together to protect the well-being of our planet and are deeply connected. Forming relationships across disciplines strengthens the care that all providers can give to their patients and our preparedness for the ever-changing landscape of medicine. By exploring these connections, we can better tackle issues such as zoonotic disease, climate change-related illness, and food safety in order to create a healthier world for all. OneHealth should be introduced to students early on within their graduate medical education so they can recognize the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration.
